Bearing Advisors Partners with the West Virginia Municipal League

Effective June 1, 2024, Bearing Advisors is partnering with the West Virginia Municipal League (WVML) to provide the Prevent+Protect Benefits Program to WV municipalities and help fortify the physical, mental, and financial health of their employees.
The Prevent+Protect Benefits Program leverages proactive tax policy to make wellness and supplemental benefits more affordable to the average worker. “If these types of benefits outprice the average earner, then we’re not helping those that need this type of support the most,” says Phil Riley, Managing Director of Bearing Advisors. “The line is no longer drawn at simply making benefits available. Now, employers can reach higher participation levels because we’re eliminating the barrier of limited personal budgets. With chronic disease on the rise, mental health on the decline, and many West Virginians forced to count every penny, Bearing Advisors is proud to be making a difference in our home state of West Virginia.”
